This policy explains how Mantons Group Ltd ("we", "us"), the operator of Mantons Living, collects and uses personal information through this website, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, travel dates, group size, purpose of stay and any message you include. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and arrange your stay. The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us, and where you go on to book, the performance of a contract with you.

We do not use this information for marketing unless you separately agree to it, and we never sell personal data.

How the form works

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, which stores submissions securely and forwards them to us by email. Netlify acts as our data processor. You can read Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies unless you choose to allow them. If you select “Allow analytics” in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site — pages viewed, approximate location (town or city level), device type, and how you arrived here. Nothing loads and no cookies are set until you consent, and declining changes nothing about how the site works. The lawful basis for this processing is your consent. You can change your mind at any time via the “Cookies” link in the footer — declining removes the analytics cookies from your browser and stops all measurement.

Analytics data is processed for us by Google LLC, which may transfer it outside the UK under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; see Google’s privacy policy. We have disabled advertising features, and analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. We record your consent choice itself in your browser’s local storage — that is strictly necessary to honour your decision and holds no personal data.

Fonts and property photographs are served directly from our own website. Two landscape photographs on the site are loaded from Unsplash, an image hosting service, which may receive your IP address as a technical consequence of your browser requesting the image.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you book with us, in which case booking records are kept for up to 6 years to meet accounting and legal obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have mishandled your data.
